While it sounds ominous, sometimes the interpretation can be funny. But movies and TV shows have taken that concept even further over the decades, creating a genre all its own, one focused on the idea of a time loop, where a character experiences not just a moment or a feeling on repeat, but entire days or more, stuck, over and over.
